There are several tourist attractions in and around Leicester. Alton Towers Theme park is an attraction for children . The Great poet, William Shakespeare was born in Startford-upon-Avon and his home still kept in an immaculate condition for tourists (pictured above). It is about 35 to 40 minutes drive. You could also visit Coventry Cathedral on the way. Leicester has a great shopping facilities, in particular, Indian shops.
